Description

Nataaranaq is a state-of-the-art shrimp trawler built in 2001 for the Greenland-based Royal Greenland A/S, specifically designed for highly efficient shrimp harvesting and processing operations.

The vessel features a powerful processing plant equipped with IQF belt freezers capable of freezing 70 tonnes of shrimp per day, along with a refrigerated hold providing 1,401 m³ of storage for palletized product.

Measuring 67.5 metres in length and 14.5 metres in beam, Nataaranaq incorporates an advanced propulsion system powered by a 4,860 kW main engine, incorporating a modern propulsion system with shaft generator to optimize energy efficiency.
