Polar Nattoralik is a state-of-the-art shrimp trawler built for the Greenlandic company Polar Seafood AS, specifically designed for highly efficient shrimp harvesting and processing operations.
Its powerful processing plant is equipped with four IQF belt freezers with a daily capacity of 100 tonnes, plus two automatic horizontal plate freezers providing an additional 25 tonnes per day. The vessel also features a refrigerated hold with a capacity of 800 tonnes for palletized product.
Measuring 80.8 metres in length and 17 metres in beam, Polar Nattoralik incorporates an advanced propulsion system with a 5,400 kW main engine, Promas system, and hybrid shaft generator, optimizing energy efficiency and reducing emissions.
Its robust electrical plant, low-pressure hydraulic winches, and comprehensive fishing gear package make it one of the most modern and productive shrimp trawlers in its class.
