In 2000, Freire Shipyard delivered to W. van der Zwan & Zn BV this magnificent trawler, measuring 142.3 metres in length and 18.7 metres in beam, and classed by Lloyd’s Register (LRS). It is powered by a 7,352 kW main engine, providing a top speed of 17 knots.
The electrical generation system comprises two 2,360 kW diesel generators and two 2,750 kW shaft generators, providing reliable power for all onboard systems. With a range of 22,000 nautical miles, the trawler is capable of extended high-seas operations.
Its freezing plant can process up to 350 tonnes of fish per day, while the holds and RSW tanks provide over 11,000 m³ of refrigerated storage, ensuring optimal preservation of the catch. Additional equipment includes two 10-tonne cranes and large cargo hatches for efficient handling of fish and supplies.
