Description

The Wiron V and Wiron VI are state-of-the-art stern trawlers built in 2002 for Tamboril N/V, based in the Netherlands Antilles, specifically designed for highly efficient pelagic fish harvesting and processing operations.

Both vessels can accommodate up to 18 crew members and feature a powerful onboard processing plant equipped with freezers capable of handling 77 tonnes of fish per day, plus a tunnel freezer with an additional capacity of 15 tonnes per day. The refrigerated hold provides 884 m³ of storage for palletized product.

Measuring 55.64 metres in length and 11.60 metres in beam, the vessels incorporate an advanced propulsion system powered by a 2,760 kW main engine, incorporating a 1,200 kW shaft generator to optimize energy efficiency.

Their outfit is complemented by a robust electrical plant, hydraulic winches, and a comprehensive fishing gear package.
