In 2004, Namibia commissioned Freire Shipyard to build this patrol vessel for its Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs.

Designed as a highly multifunctional platform, the vessel accommodates up to 28 crew members and is equipped to carry out fisheries surveillance, as well as search and rescue, salvage support, firefighting, freshwater supply, and medical assistance missions.

The ship’s propulsion system consists of two main engines of 1,500 kW at 900 rpm, connected to twin shaft lines with controllable-pitch propellers, enabling a maximum speed of 17 knots.
