Freire Shipyard signs contract to build an oceanographic research vessel for IFREMER

Freire Shipyard and IFREMER have joined forces to construct a cutting-edge oceanographic vessel for the French Oceanographic Fleet. The French-flagged vessel, spanning 40.30 meters with reduced draft, will explore diverse oceanographic disciplines along the Atlantic coast. From geosciences to biological oceanography, it will also support fishery operations on the continental shelf.
