Coming into force of the shipbuilding contract of an oceanographic vessel for Perú

C.N.P.FREIRE, S.A starts the construction of a vessel for the Peruvian Ministry of Defence.

Last December, C.N.P.FREIRE signed a contract for the construction of a new 95 mts. long hydrographic and oceanographic polar vessel for the MINISTERIO DE GUERRA DEL PERU (Peruvian Ministry of Defence); the contract also came into force in the same month.

The vessel will have polar PC7 notation as it is to operate in the Peruvian waters as well as in their Antarctic base Machu Pichu.
