During 25th – 28th February, last official sea trials of RV Belgica were carried out, where various oceanographic equipment were adjusted and tested. All tests were successfully concluded with the satisfaction of both parts, owner and shipyard, for having carried out an exceptional work in close cooperation with one another.
The management of the yard are “proud of the work carried out by our engineers, technicians and workers for the effort put into this extraordinary project in such difficult working and living conditions as we have lived through during the last year and we are certainly eager to see her operating”.
